California Native and resident the Miracle Mile for over 40 years, Meg’s business has always been in hospitality, culinary arts and event planning. Beginning with Pastry Positions at the Biltmore Hotel. Le Dome Restaurant and Valentino’s, Meg’s fist restaurant, Mangia, opened five years later. Two more followed; Meg’s on Rodeo, (concurrently running the Vidal Sassoon Corporate Executive Dining Room), and finally Doug Arrengo’s in Palm Springs. She then moved out of the restaurant and into Food Styling for Film (“War of the Roses”, “Tequila Sunrise”, “Dead Again”) and Television (“Star Trek”). She also began Nutmeg Catering and for thirteen years she was the private chef for director Sydney Pollack. A burgeoning photographer as well she runs Nutmeg Unlimited a custom photography/stationary business.
Meg took off her toque and joined the Chamber five years ago to expand her business. She was honored to be appointed to the position of Executive Director a year later. Her extensive experience in planning, detailing and directing the many activities of the MMCC are a convivial benefit for the Members and community at large.
