Taste of the Farmers Market!
The Original Farmers Market at Third & Fairfax announces its 10th annual Taste of Farmers Market on Tuesday, July 24th, from 5-9pm. An evening filled with flavorful bites, live entertainment, and community goodwill, the theme of this year’s highly anticipated event is “Celebrating a World of Flavor.” Guests will enjoy mouth-watering tastes from the Market’s beloved restaurants, grocers and eateries. For the third year in a row, Taste of Farmers Market will support the First-In Fire Foundation and the brave firefighters from neighborhood fire stations 61 & 58. The event will feature delicious firehouse chili – meat lovers and vegetarian – prepared by firehouse chefs, as well as meet and greets with the firefighters and fire truck photo opportunities on the Market Plaza. Guests can also visit the First-in Fire booth for arts and crafts and emergency preparedness information.
Other delicious bites at this year’s Taste of Farmers Market include La Bastille Ham & Swiss Cheese Crepe from The French Crepe Company, Tuna Tartare and Chicken Tortilla Soup from Marmalade Café, Harris Ranch Prime Rib Sandwiches from Huntington Meats, Four Cheese Macaroni and Cheese from Du-par’s, Kung Pao Chicken from Peking Kitchen, Cream Puffs from Michelina Artisan Boulanger, Buttermilk Cake Donut Holes from Bob’s Coffee and Donuts, Wabi-Sabi Buns from Sushi a Go Go, Mushroom and Cheese Empanadas from Nonna’s Empanadas, and more. Kiehl’s will also be offering homemade scones and deluxe skincare samples for event attendees.
Tickets are on sale now at www.farmersmarketla.com, or at the Farmers Market Office, Upstairs at Gate One (Open daily until 7 p.m.). Tickets purchased by July 23rd are $40, and event day tickets (while supplies last) are $45. A $10 Kids Ticket is also available for children 10 and under and includes 10 tastes.
Admission includes beer and wine samples (for guests 21 and over), drink tickets for non-alcoholic beverages and free parking in the Farmers Market surface lots or The Grove parking structure. Additionally, all ticket purchases include a commemorative 10th anniversary gift, and all kids tickets include a copy of the new Farmers Market coloring book. A 10% discount is available for adult group purchases of 10 or more.
